  1. When I saw a few dark fuzzy greenish patches on the walls and ceiling in my bathroom, I was pretty much convinced that it was indeed mold. I had an idea of what mold growth looked like from seeing it once in my neighbor’s home. My husband convinced me to have the room inspected just to make sure. I think he was more concerned about finding out of it was toxic or not. He really did not want me to even attempt to take it off with Baking Soda as my aunt was advising me to do because if it did turn out to be toxic and we did not get the place fumigated then the spores would still be present in the bathroom and we could get sick. I took my husband’s advice because most of the time he was right about these situations. I asked my neighbor about the company she got to take care of the mold and she gave me the number for Five Boro Mold Removal Specialist. I had to use their emergency service because I really did not want to risk my six month old to further exposure and since we only had one bathroom, we were very desperate to have it gone. I was surprised by how affordable it was to do the inspection. A few of my friends had gotten me nervous about the price and I was really wary of it being too high. The technicians worked very fast and we got the results quicker than I had expected. We were very lucky to find out that the mold wasn’t toxic. They removed all of it and we were very pleased overall with their service.
